Different types of Automated Carwashes

June 28, 2022 by A M

You might know the traditional hard brush car wash today we will explain two new types

While you may want to get your car cleaned from a regular drive-thru brush carwash to save time and quickly get your car washed there are drawbacks like making your vehicles paint dull and the dirt leaving micro-scratches on your car paint but if you are  short on time and can’t get your car cleaned the traditional way

don’t worry as there are two more options the Touchless and the soft brush carwashes

Touchless carwash

Automatic Touchless Car Wash

As the world is evolving so is the technology and automated carwashes the touchless car wash uses the hi/lo wash method to clean your car without contact unlike the other carwashes where you have high risks you pay to a machine and select your wash type such as if you want protective coating etc

then you drive inside the bay or tunnel it depends on your location then the washing starts unlike other washing methods it consists of a high-pressure water sprayer and multiple types of soaps to help remove all types of dirt, mud, and bird poos the water consists of high ph levels and the soap has a low acidic level to help soften and remove the dirt.

like everything it has its pros and cons

Advantages: cheap, noncontact, and faster than your traditional wash.

Disadvantages: Slight risk of damaging your vehicle paint due to high pressure-directed water spray.

Soft carwash

Soft Brush Car Wash

If you want the same experience as the traditional hard brush carwash but want to minimize the damage and get your car cleaned fast then the soft brush car wash is for you as it uses the same methods used in hard brush wash the main difference is that the brushes are soft cloths moving at high speeds instead of hard brushes you pay to a machine and go inside the tunnel the high-pressure water will be sprayed to loosen the dirt on your vehicle along with the soap and the soft brushes will do the rest of the job.

Advantages: uses soft cloth brushes to not damage your vehicle paint

Disadvantages: some dirt might remain in hard-to-reach places where the brushes can’t reach

moreover, if you want the traditional one you can check out our post

In Conclusion:

If you have the time and patience and you don’t want your vehicle paint to be damaged and lose its shine then go for the traditional hand wash

but if your accepting the risk and are short on time then go for the automated car washes as it will save your time but it comes with a hidden price the price of losing your cars shine over time if you use the automated carwashes repeatedly still if your willing to take the risk the safest one to go for in our opinion would be the touchless car wash as it has the least risks and is fast and cheap or if you like brushes or paint is not a big deal for you then soft brush and the hard brush automated carwash will be best remember to leave a tip if any of your services include cleaning by human workers for more information on carwash
